What's in This Pan
Coconut Oil
The backbone of dish soap. High lauric acid content cuts grease, produces dense lather, and rinses clean. Hard, long-lasting bar.
Grass Fed Beef Tallow
Adds hardness to the soap, makes a longer lasting soap.
Castor Oil
Boosts lather and adds conditioning properties. Keeps the bar from being too harsh on hands.
Sodium Hydroxide (NaOH)
The alkali used in traditional bar soap saponification. Completely consumed in the reaction, no residual lye in the finished soap.
Distilled Water
Used to dissolve the lye during saponification. Distilled to avoid minerals that can interfere with the finished soap.

The Math

Competing with commercial dish soap prices is difficult, so we sell this as a full brick, a 8–16 month soap supply, to compete effectively on cost. When it's done, you have a bread pan instead of a plastic bottle in the trash. And unlike liquid soap, you're only buying the active ingredients, not a bottle of soapy water
