What's in This Bar
Grass-Fed Tallow
The backbone of the formula. High in saturated fats that closely mirror the oils in human skin. Makes a hard, long-lasting bar with a naturally conditioning lather.
Coconut Oil
Brings the lather. High lauric acid content cuts through grease and produces a dense, creamy foam. Also hardens the bar so it lasts.
Castor Oil
Boosts lather and adds slip. Keeps the bar from feeling stripping on your hands..
Olive Oil
Adds conditioning and gentleness.
Sweet Almond Oil
Light carrier oil, gentle on skin.
Sodium Hydroxide (NaOH)
The alkali used in saponification. Completely consumed in the chemical reaction, no residual lye in the finished bar.
Distilled Water
Used to dissolve the lye. Distilled to avoid minerals that can affect the finished soap.
